Hollow Game User Test - # 1
Below is a report for the user test for the game Hollow. We surveyed 4 individuals who tested the mechanics and combat. Users were screened in an online survey and in person. The report includes goals, tasks, participant profile, etc.
UX User Interviews
Nike App
Objective: To assess the usability and user satisfaction of the Nike app.
Methodology: I conducted a usability interview with 1 participant aged 30, who was not a regular Nike app user. The participant was given specific tasks to perform within the app while thinking aloud. Their interactions were observed, and feedback was collected.
Key Findings:
Registration and Onboarding:
Participants found the registration process fairly seamless, but encountered minor issue with email verification.
Onboarding was considered engaging and informative, with the user appreciating the personalized content.
Navigation:
User easily located the main navigation menu and found it intuitive.
The "Explore" tab was praised for its clear categorization of products and content.
User reported confusion when trying select location of filter.
Search and Filtering:
Participant praised the search functionality for its accuracy and speed.
Filtering options, especially for sizing and color, were found to be limited.
Product Page:
Product details were well-received, and user appreciated the high-quality images and detailed descriptions.
User noted that the description was in a “weird place” not easily accessible.
User felt overwhelmed by the number of product recommendations on the same page, suggesting a need for better organization.
Checkout Process:
The checkout process was smooth and straightforward.
Participants experienced minor payment processing delays, potentially due to slow network connections.
Account Management:
User reported satisfaction with the ability to manage their profiles, addresses, and payment methods.
Participant expressed concerns about the lack of a guest checkout option.
Performance and Speed:
Participant encountered occasional lag, primarily when viewing videos or high-resolution images.
Feedback and Assistance:
The chat support feature received positive feedback for responsiveness and helpfulness.
User suggested adding more in-app tutorials or guides for new features.
Overall Satisfaction:
Participant reported high satisfaction with the Nike app.
Participant said they would recommend it to friends.
User rating for the app was 4.5 out of 5.
Areas for Improvement:
Enhance filtering options for products.
Optimize performance for slower network connections.
Consider reducing clutter on product pages.
Provide a guest checkout option.
Continue to offer user assistance and guidance for new features.
Conclusion:
The Nike app generally received positive feedback, with a high satisfaction rating. However, there are still opportunities for improvement, particularly in terms of filtering options and optimizing performance for users with slower internet connections.
